![]() ARCHITECT@WORK 2012 STUTTGART7-8.11.2012 Debut in StuttgartOn 7 and 8 November, the architect@work will take place for the first time in Stuttgart and we will be there. Armstrong at Euroshop2011 Exquisite new DLW ScalaIn Düsseldorf at EuroShop, the world’s most important retail trade fair (26 Feb – 2 Mar), Armstrong presented its latest Scala designer tile collections to an international audience. These included the new, entirely reworked Scala 100 and Scala 55 collections, as well as the new Scala Click Comfort installation alternative. The stage for the market launch was fashioned in a combination of solid red, orange and violet DesignCut tiles. In keeping with its recently initiated "green dialogue" campaign, Armstrong re-used a scaled-down version of its booth installation at the BAU trade fair held in January. The strikingly attractive booth featuring enormous fan-shaped structures was designed by architecture students from the University of Applied Sciences in Giessen, Germany. ![]() Armstrong pays tribute to young architecture studentsBAU 2011 The Armstrong trade fair booth at BAU 2011In January 2011, the BAU trade fair for architecture, materials and systems once again attracted many visitors to its host city, Munich. This year, Armstrong presented itself in front of and beneath a giant white fan-shaped structure. The spectacular trade fair booth was the culmination of a project jointly undertaken with architecture students from the University of Applied Sciences in Giessen, Germany, led by Professor Jürgen J. Hauck. From the students’ creative designs, Armstrong selected two winning proposals, as well as one for third place, and honoured their achievements at a public awards presentation at the BAU trade fair. The two first prizes went to Tatjana Kapezov, whose proposal was implemented, and to Roman Grube. Poitr Hajnas received the third-place award. ImpressionsOur last exhibitions |
